Carol Hungerford is best known for her portraits, but makes time to paint beach scenes, still lifes and other subjects.

Hungerford took classes at the Otis Institute, Associates in Art and the Palos Verdes Art Center. She has studied with landscape painter Joseph Mendez, Christina and Dan Cooper and Dan McCaw.

Her works have appeared at the Palos Verdes Library, the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, Cannery Row Studios, Distinctive Edge and, most recently, at the Derick Takeuchi Galleries.

Hungerford's paintings have been featured in the Palos Verdes News, Easy Reader and the Beach Reporter.
